There was a big earthquake happened in China few weeks ago. Many people and animals died in this accident. A mother and her little baby was pressed by big rocks. The mother was very brave, she used her life to protect her baby. She used her whole body to bolster the big rock which fell very quickly, she don’t want her baby to get hurt. Before she died, she used her spare main to take off her clothes, so her little baby can drink the breast milk. The emergency workers were all felt very affecting by this great mother.

The 228 Incident was an uprising in Taiwan that began on February 28, 1947 and was suppressed by the Kuomintang government, resulting in thirty thousand or sixty thousand civilians killed. In remembrance of those who died in the 228 incident, and in the hope that all the people of Taiwan, the government set February 28 as 228 Peace Memorial Day.

My hobby is to draw pictures. I liked to draw pictures since I was in kindergarten, I remembered that I drew many things I liked, for example cute puppies, my family, rainbow, my house…., now I still like to draw when I am free, but I don’t have too much time to do it because of the homework and tests. Maybe I should study hard on workdays, and then I can do my hobby on holidays.

On this winter vacation, I did many things in Taipei. I got together with my family  and ate many delicious food and I played interesting games with my cousin. My mom and dad gave  us red envilopes, we were all very happy to get it. I had a very great time.
